This Privacy Policy explains how Praeco ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Praeco platform (praeco.cc), including our web application, mobile application, and browser extensions (collectively, the "Service").

Praeco is operated by Bîrsan Rareș-Sânzian PFA (CUI 54056450), a sole proprietorship registered in Bucharest, Romania.

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy covers two categories of people:

• Praeco account holders — creators, businesses, and marketers who use Praeco to build and send newsletters and messages.
• Subscribers/recipients — people who receive emails, SMS, or WhatsApp messages sent through Praeco by an account holder.

For subscribers/recipients, the Praeco account holder who sent you a message is the data controller for that relationship; Praeco acts as their data processor. 2. Information we collect

From account holders

• Account information: name, email address, password (hashed) or Google OAuth identity, business/PFA details if provided
• Connected sources: WordPress/WooCommerce site URLs and content synced via our plugin or content crawler (posts, products, images)
• Brand settings: logo, colors, social links, sender name and email
• Campaign content: newsletters, messages, and templates you create
• Usage data: how you interact with the Service (pages visited, features used, device/browser type)

From subscribers (collected on behalf of account holders)

• Email address, phone number (for SMS/WhatsApp), and any additional fields the account holder chooses to collect (name, location, tags)
• Subscription status and preferences per channel (email, SMS, WhatsApp)
• Engagement data: opens, clicks, bounces, unsubscribes, delivery status

3. How we use information

• To provide and operate the Service (sending campaigns, syncing content, displaying analytics)
• To authenticate accounts and secure the platform
• To communicate with account holders about their account and the Service
• To comply with legal obligations, including commercial email/SMS/WhatsApp regulations
• We do not sell personal data, and we do not use subscriber data collected on behalf of account holders for our own marketing purposes

5. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as the account is active. Subscriber data is retained for as long as the associated Praeco account remains active, or until the account holder or subscriber requests deletion. Email delivery event data may be retained for a limited period for analytics purposes.

If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent

7. Unsubscribing

Every email sent through Praeco includes an unsubscribe link. SMS and WhatsApp messages include opt-out instructions in accordance with each channel's requirements.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect data, including encryption in transit and access controls on our infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's privacy

Praeco is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to account holders via email or an in-app notice.
